JBQ is in the format of a quiz competition in which students memorize answers to questions and recite those answers in a quiz match

There are 576 such questions/answers, split across 3-point values and containing normal questions and quotation questions

JBQ is an example of high Bible engagement because children are immersed in God’s Word from the beginning

Children learn, from a young age, essential stories from the Bible, teachings, doctrines, and verses that WILL stick with them for the rest of their lives

JBQ is unique in that it’s in a competition format, which encourages the children to commit to memorizing God’s Word in the form of these questions and answers

A side benefit is that as children become very involved in JBQ, their parents also get involved in this process by volunteering to help coach or conduct quiz competitions, help their children study, and even sometimes, memorize some questions and answers themselves
